Susanna leads a weekly meditation group

meditationSusanna leads a weekly meditation group. The session consists of a 20 minute meditation, a short question and answer session, or more usually an exchange of views! The session concludes with a short guided visualization or similar exercise to enhance the practice of meditation.

These group meetings are suitable for all – total beginners and those with an established meditation practice, on the basis that we are always able to learn something new from every experience. » More about meditation

Classes are held at Kelling Studio on Tuesday mornings

The doors open at 8.45 and the meditation starts at 9am.

The cost of attendance is £6.00 per session, and is preferably paid 4 weekly in advance.

Private meditation lessons by arrangement.

Susanna

Susanna first learnt Transcendental Meditation when she was 21, and for 8 years meditated twice daily.

After the birth of her first daughter, sticking to the twice daily sessions became impossible and she adopted a more flexible schedule and started to experiment with other forms and types of meditation, such as guided visualisation and charka, colour, or crystal mediations, attending workshops and listening to tapes.

In 2000 Susanna attended a Meditation Teacher training course with Lita d’Albedi and went on to complete the Light Body Training.

About Meditation

Stress is the 21st century epidemic. Life moves fast and we run to try to keep pace.

Every report on stress suggests meditation as a way to combat the negative physical and psychological effects of stress. And yet developing a good meditation practice on your own can be difficult and often defeats the novice before the benefits of meditation are appreciated.

Susanna has found that the best way to establish a meditation practice is to attend a weekly group. Once meditation in a group is established, the benefits have been experienced, and the mind learns that there is nothing to fear, it is easier to start introducing a meditation ‘slot’ into one’s day.
